REMINDER
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

Science is Built on Ignorance and Error. (Just like it's supposed to be.)

Praise God for science! What a wonderful gift we've been given be able to manipulate and learn about the world around us. I often stand in wonder when I encounter the men and women of scientific aptitude, (and usually greater intelligence,) who teach us the marvels they've witnessed within their given fields of specialty.

I'm also amazed at how touchy we, as believers, have become toward those who propose a world view without Christ as the Savior. I mean, who are we here to lead to Christ, if not the lost? Their lack of believing is what makes them lost! And following our Almighty God in seeking their salvation is an endeavor of faith, not science. Praise God!

So let's get real about what science is and quit being so intimidated by it.

The scientific method is a process whereby new ideas can be explored and tested and advanced or discredited. All scientific advancement is built upon a foundation of overturning or expanding our prior understandings. True science has as it's foundation the core belief that,

"Some of What We Believe Today is Wrong!"

or

"Some of Today's Facts are Tomorrow's Fallacies!"

The scientific method is based upon the premiss that our knowledge today is incomplete and/or incorrect. Were this not true, we would know it all and there would be no role for science, (beyond chicanery.) We don't know it all, so we turn to the scientific method to learn more.

Look at it another way: Scientific knowledge is supposed to be fallable!

Science, scientists, and the scientific method are a wonderful, blessed way to explore God's creation. And what marvels we have experienced as our knowledge has grown and God's marvels have been shown to be even more marvelous than we ever suspected! Incorrect theories will eventually be disproven and lead back to the Bible's foundation of facts. True science can only, inevitably lead the elect to praise Him!

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
- Psalm 19:1

“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
- Luke 19:40 NIV

Huh, go figure... they do.

Pretty much a sinner through and through. I have two daughters and a son. God has blessed me over and over on a scale that defies any relationship to my faithfulness to Him. I'm just trying to do right by the people I know and love more of them better, (while practicing hard at being a grumpy old man.)
