REMINDER
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

I Heard a Great Idea Today

I'm kind of known for "discovering" mundane things that everyone else already knows. "Hey! Did you know water FREEZES when it gets cold?! It's the neatest thing!" (I'm pretty dense at times.)

A lady on our local Christian radio station suggested that we all "Pray-in the New Year." Rather than watching a ball drop or kissing on someone, take that moment and spend it with Our Lord. I think that's a great idea!

(Of course, now I'll find out that huge portions of the Body of Christ have been doing this for centuries... Tra-la-la! [Flip of the hair!])

I still think it's a great idea...

Happy New Year and God Bless You!

Pretty much a sinner through and through. I have two daughters and a son. God has blessed me over and over on a scale that defies any relationship to my faithfulness to Him. I'm just trying to do right by the people I know and love more of them better, (while practicing hard at being a grumpy old man.)
