REMINDER
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

One Last Lesson

I've learned a lot from my father over the years. Some lessons I learned as he talked to me and gave me explanations. Most lessons he taught me by example.

Lately, I have been watching and learning my father's greatest lesson: Dad has been showing me how to die. You learn some things when a person is facing death, but there have been no surprises with Dad. He loves the Lord and the Lord loves my Dad.

“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."

- Exodus 20:12 NIV

I will miss my Dad very, very much when he goes to Him, but because of the parents that God gave me, I will someday go to my Dad and my Father. Oh, how I honor my parents for that.

Thank you, Mom and Dad. I love you.

Pretty much a sinner through and through. I have two daughters and a son. God has blessed me over and over on a scale that defies any relationship to my faithfulness to Him. I'm just trying to do right by the people I know and love more of them better, (while practicing hard at being a grumpy old man.)
