REMINDER
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

Apology

Toward the end of yesterday's posting, I originally had the following text:

"These points remain:

Faith Without Works is Dead.
Faith without Truth is Error."

"Faith Without Works is Dead" is a commonly quoted portion of James 2:26*.

"Faith without Truth is Error" is just me talking. This morning I was appalled when I saw what I had done: I never intended to place my ideas alongside or with equal emphasis to God's Word. This must never be.

The post has been changed and I sincerely apologize.

* "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."
- James 2:26 KJV

Pretty much a sinner through and through. I have two daughters and a son. God has blessed me over and over on a scale that defies any relationship to my faithfulness to Him. I'm just trying to do right by the people I know and love more of them better, (while practicing hard at being a grumpy old man.)
