A Prayer Request


This morning I opened my email to find a letter from Robert Steinkamp of Rejoice Marriage Ministries. Bob has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. That is usually quick and terminal.

I have been so very impressed with their ministry over the last 3-4 years. It has borne fruit in me and many others. May I please impose on you to take a moment, right now as you read this, to pray for Bob, his wife Charlyne, and their extended family.

Healing and peace from Him who sits on the Throne to us all.

Long time...



I apologise for not posting since April.
I'm very sorry that the blog has been unused.

I've sat down several times to post since April, but each time I have had a "hitch in my spirit" that said not to.

Now that seems to be gone.

Pretty much a sinner through and through. I have two daughters and a son. God has blessed me over and over on a scale that defies any relationship to my faithfulness to Him. I'm just trying to do right by the people I know and love more of them better, (while practicing hard at being a grumpy old man.)
